PCU RN Job in Federal Way, WA

St Francis Hospital - Federal Way is seeking an RN for their 24-bed Progressive Care Unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 16, 2026, offering $2,507 weekly pay.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM with flex to days available
• Every other weekend requirement
• 2 of the winter holidays required
• Hospital may cancel up to 3 shifts during this assignment
• Standby possible if extra staff is available

Unit Details

• Patient ratios: 1:3–4
• Nurse aide support at 1:10 ratio
• 24/7 charge nurse and house supervisor on duty
• Floating requirement within Region I to other facilities as needed

Clinical Focus

Common diagnoses include Pneumonia, ARDS, hypertensive urgency, Angina, cardiac catheterization patients, and alcohol withdrawal. You will titrate drips including Amiodarone, Diltiazem, Dopamine, Nitroglycerin, Lasix, and Dobutamine. Respiratory equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen. Remote monitoring techs are available with RN approval for telemetry monitoring.

Requirements

• PCU experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• BSN not required
