Cath Lab Technologist Job in Charleston, WV

Join CAMC Memorial Hospital as a Cath Lab Technologist on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Weekly pay is $2,798. Your assignment begins September 28, 2026.

As the department expands from four to five procedure rooms, you'll scrub into the Cath Lab and support the team alongside a Cath Lab RN and Cath Lab Tech. Cases include adult cardiology and structural cardiology procedures. You'll apply expertise across diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, cardiac implant closure devices, stent placement, IABP placement and removal, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA). Strong skills in equipment setup, sterile field maintenance, scrub procedures, room circulation, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias are essential.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab experience; first-time travelers not accepted
• Prior travel experience strongly preferred in high-volume lab environments
• Active West Virginia license required to start; pending license accepted for submission
• ARRT registration required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system required
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and maintain isolation precautions and proper PPE
