PCU Registered Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

Grady Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a float pool position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will work across PCU and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) floors, caring for patients with cardiac conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain presentations, and post-cardiac interventions.

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage a patient ratio of 1:3–4 across PCU/IMCU float pool assignments
• Administer and manage cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors
• Monitor and care for patients with acute coronary syndromes and related presentations
• Provide care in telemetry beds within the same unit when assigned to lower-acuity patients
• Document and coordinate care using the EPIC electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a similarly sized facility
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to work with minimal requested time off

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours, days
• Duration: 110 days
• Weekly pay: $2,032
• Start date: September 21, 2026
