OR Registered Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a 126-day travel assignment on a 4x10 day shift schedule, with weekly pay of $2,320. Your start date is October 5, 2026.

Role Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of Operating Room experience required prior to travel
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required

Clinical Details

You will care for adult and geriatric patients with a 1:1 patient ratio across days, nights, and weekends. The service lines include Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics. You must have experience in Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics. Required surgical skills include Craniotomy, Laminectomy/Discectomy, Lumbar Fusion, ALIF, XLIF, Total Joint Replacement, Organ Donation/Transplant, Cholecystectomy, Colon Resection, Whipple, Laparoscopic Assisted Procedures, Arthroscopy, and Open/Closed Reduction of Fractures.

Schedule and Expectations

• Variable weekend and call schedules (to be discussed during interview)
• Floating required within facility and to Outpatient as needed
• 36 orientation hours required
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
• No holiday time off approved during blackout dates: November 23–29 and December 21–January 3

Support and Preferences

Community hospital and Trauma Level I and Level II experience are preferred. Interdisciplinary support is available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary.
