ICU Registered Nurse Job in San Francisco, CA

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend rotation required with shifts assigned based on unit needs, at minimum every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Float as needed to TICU, Med/Tele, and Med/Surg units
• Patient ratios of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 36-bed ICU unit with a daily census of 30 patients
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required, 4 years preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CCRN
• California RN license required
• Required skills include: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation, CVA/acute stroke management, external ventricular drain (EVD) management, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), ICP monitoring, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, neuro intensive care, post neurosurgery management, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, ventilator management, and ventricular assist device (LVAD/RVAD)
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and phlebotomy
