Cath Lab Technologist

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• 8-10 hour shifts, 5 days per week based on department staffing
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Call required up to 3 times per week, including every other weekend
• Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes
• Weekday call: 3 days per week when not on weekend call; 2 days per week when assigned weekend call
• Average daily census of 6 patients
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required; no first-time travelers
• Travel experience required
• EP and IR experience preferred
• Experience with embolizations, coiling, ablations, and implants including ports, pacemakers, and ICDs required
• Proficient with Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser atherectomy, and thrombectomy devices required
• Strong STEMI experience with FTB/DTB times under 60 minutes required
• Ability to perform peripheral vascular and EP procedures required
• Must be able to work independently and perform all Cath Lab procedures expertly
• Epic EMR with Cupid documentation experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R), CCI RCIS, and Louisiana State License
• Must be comfortable with equipment including Impella, IABP, Inari, EKOS, AngioJet, Rotoblator, Shockwave, Diamondback, Medrad, ACIST, Siemens, and Canon imaging systems
