Med Surg RN Job in Denver, CO

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg position at HCA HealthONE Swedish in Denver, CO. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting July 20, 2026.

Role Overview

You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on the 6th floor Medical/Telemetry unit in the main building. The unit has 33 rooms with capacity for up to 49 patients, including semi-private rooms. Night shift staffing consists of 1 charge nurse, 1.5 techs, and 5–6 RNs, with patient ratios of 5:1 on night shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using Meditech EMR and telemetry monitoring equipment
• Perform wound care, bowel programs, and light burn care
• Care for surgical flap patients, including those with spinal cord injuries and stage 4 wounds requiring surgical intervention
• Partner with the burn unit to care for low acuity burn patients
• Support a busy floor environment with strong focus on patient care

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with spinal cord injury patients preferred

Compensation and Duration

Weekly pay: $1,708.20. Assignment length: 91 days.
