Respiratory Therapist Job in Lonetree, CO

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 3 shifts of 12 hours each, nights from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, in a 240-bed acute care facility with a dedicated respiratory therapy team of 15 staff members.

About the Role

You will manage an average of 30–40 patient points per shift with a minimum of 3 respiratory therapists on duty at all times. Your responsibilities include administering treatments, ventilator setup and management, assisting with intubations, drawing arterial blood gases, patient and staff education, and delivering all respiratory therapies. You will work across multiple units including the ED, pediatrics, ICU, NICU, and medical-surgical floors, with a key focus on NICU and ICU therapy and ventilator liberation efforts.

Required Qualifications

• Current RRT credential with minimum 6 months acute care hospital experience
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• CRT or NBRC certification required

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Meditech EMR experience
• PICU and NICU experience

Equipment and Systems

You will work with Hamilton G5 ventilators and the Meditech electronic medical record system. Independent decision-making and strong collaborative teamwork are essential for this role.
