ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirement
• Patient ratios based on acuity
• Float required to meet needs of facility and department
• Emergency department sees approximately 130 visits per day across 37 rooms
• Serve patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work with interdisciplinary support teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• 2 years of emergency room experience required; first-time travelers accepted with ER experience
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (American Heart Association only)
• Preferred certifications: CPI and TNCC
• Epic charting experience required
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Special equipment includes Belmont and bedside ultrasound
• Key skills include interpretation of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, IV vasopressors, triage, starting and maintaining IVs, isolation precautions/PPE, and management of dysrhythmias
