CNA Job in Kealakekua, HI

Kona Community Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our behavioral health unit in Kealakekua, Hawaii. This is a traveling position with a 91-day assignment starting November 9, 2026.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care and support to our nursing team in a behavioral health setting. Your responsibilities include assisting patients with activities of daily living, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and responding to patient needs with compassion and professionalism. You may also work as a sitter on the medical/surgical unit as needed.

• Location: Kealakekua, HI
• Shift: Rotating day and/or night shifts
• Schedule: Combination of 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $1,426

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification
• 1 year of CNA experience preferred
• Experience on a behavioral health unit preferred
• Ability to work rotating shifts
• Strong communication and patient care skills
