About this role
You'll work as an Electrophysiology Technician at St. Josephs Hospital - South in Riverview, Florida. This is a 91-day travel assignment on a 4x10 day shift schedule, with a weekly pay of $2,462.40. Your start date is June 29, 2026.
Role Overview
You'll perform electrophysiology cases one day per week and cardiac catheterization/interventional radiology cases the remaining three days per week. You'll work with a 4-room ratio and support patients of all ages, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. As the EP program grows, EP duties will expand and Cath/IR duties will diminish.
Required Experience & Credentials
- Minimum 1 year of experience in electrophysiology
- Diagnostic cardiac catheterization lab and EP lab work setting experience
- Cardiac catheterization lab procedural experience
- EP training and procedural experience required
- BLS certification required
- Florida license or compact license required
- Travel experience required
- Must live at least 100 miles from the facility
- Pass/fail EKG exam required (3 attempts allowed)
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions accepted)
Key Responsibilities
You'll assist with cardiac ablation, mapping, stent placement, pacemaker insertion, and interventional procedures. You'll wear royal blue scrubs and work within a Cerner EMR system (preferred). There are no weekend requirements, no on-call responsibilities, and no floating within scope.
Pre-Start Requirements
You must complete required modules prior to your start date and annually thereafter. Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not required.
