CT Technologist Job in Johns Island, SC

MUSC Health Emergency - Kiawah Partners Pavilion is seeking a CT Technologist to join its emergency imaging team in Johns Island, SC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with every other weekend required. There is no on-call obligation. You may float to similar units within your scope to support facility needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images in both CT and radiography modalities
• Explain procedures to patients and confirm competency before proceeding
• Generate images for interpretation by licensed practitioners
• Serve patients across all age groups—pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform imaging for STEMI, stroke/CVA, cardiac, and trauma cases
• Execute procedures including abdomen, chest, pelvis, head, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, soft tissue neck, musculoskeletal trauma, and vascular CTA studies
• Operate Siemens X-ray and CT equipment
• Chart in Epic

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional degree or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of imaging experience; first-time travelers not accepted
• Active ARRT registration in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (C)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (ACLS pending accepted if obtained within 2–3 weeks of hire)
• SCRQSA certification required
• Prior travel experience required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in emergency and trauma imaging, pediatric exams, orthopedic studies in both modalities, Siemens equipment operation, Epic, and PACS systems.

Compensation & Logistics

Weekly pay is $2,462.40. Your agency will provide a radiation badge prior to your start date. Dress code is teal blue top with black bottoms. Parking passes cost $20 (one-time fee; applies to nights and weekends only).
