ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in an 8-bed ICU with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Mixed patient population in an open ICU setting with a goal staffing of 4 RNs per shift 24/7
• Self-scheduling encouraged with every other weekend requirement and flexible scheduling available
• Overtime available when applicable
• May float to critical care or intermediate care areas when needed
• Utilize GE B650 cardiac monitors, ventilators, and Gaymar cooling equipment
• Document using Meditech system
• Perform ventilator care, therapeutic hypothermia, PCI/STEMI, IABP, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, TEE/cardioversion, temporary pacing, sepsis management, stroke/TPA, and DKA management
• Serve as a responder for Code Blue and Rapid Response Team
• Follow AIDET validation practices, hourly rounding, white board use, and bedside care conference/hand off procedures
• Professional scrubs required at all times (no specific color required)
• Medical and surgical ICU experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• AIBP experience and CCRN certification preferred
• Active NH RN license required at time of submission
