Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Potosi, MO

You'll work as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Tide Health Group - Georgian Gardens, a long-term care facility in Potosi, Missouri. This is a 91-day temporary position running from September 14, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts
• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend shifts unless a holiday falls Monday through Friday, in which case hours may be made up on the weekend
• $1,670.40 per week

Your Role

You'll provide rehabilitative and skilled treatment interventions for patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist. Your responsibilities include:

• Administer manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and supportive and assistive devices
• Assess patient progress and communicate with your supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly
• Report treatment outcomes and effectiveness to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders
• Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records per company policy
• Accurately record treatment minutes for services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements
• Communicate effectively with your supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans
• Provide input to your supervisor for discharge summaries per regulatory and clinical requirements
• Work with the supervising Physical Therapist to obtain necessary DME or supplies
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, in-services, and conferences
• Supervise and support students under the guidance of the Physical Therapist
• Utilize evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions

Requirements

• Active Missouri PTA license
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• Ability to adhere to APTA and state required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics
