Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Humansville, MO

You will work as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in a long-term care setting at Tide Health Group - Big Spring in Humansville, MO. This is a temporary position offering a Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend obligations unless making up hours when a holiday falls on a weekday. You will work 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, and earn $1,670.40 weekly. The assignment is 91 days, starting September 14, 2026.

Your responsibilities:

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions under Physical Therapist supervision
• Administer manual techniques, ambulation assistance, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and supportive device application
• Assess patient progress and communicate findings with your supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatment plans
• Document all regulatory and clinical information accurately in the electronic documentation system
• Record treatment minutes for all services provided
• Participate in patient care conferences and rehabilitation team meetings
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
• Supervise and support students under Physical Therapist guidance
• Apply evidence-based practice principles to support clinical interventions
• Adhere to APTA guidelines, state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethical standards

Requirements:

• Active Missouri PTA license
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility (SNF)
• New graduates accepted if they have Level II experience (Level I observation experience does not meet requirements)
• No on-call responsibilities
