Pediatric CVOR

Opportunity:

RN - CVOR Peds

Job Details:

• Schedule options include 5x8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per workweek for 8 and 10-hour shifts, 36 hours per workweek for 3x12-hour shifts, and 48 hours per workweek for 4x12-hour shifts
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Primary focus will be in the CVOR; however, travelers will be expected to assist in the main OR when CV cases are not available or are completed before the shift ends
• CVOR call is required
• Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals is required
• Serves patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Pediatric cardiac experience and trauma experience highly preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS
• Charting system: Cerner
• Parking: Free
• Required equipment skills: Basic instruments, laparoscopic instruments, sternal saws, Midas drills, and basic power equipment
• Preferred equipment skills: DaVinci, Censitrac
• Preferred procedural skills: Case cart, scrub, crash cart, Fontan, VAD, and arterial switch
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local travelers (Indiana residents) accepted
