Pediatric CVOR RN Job in Indianapolis, IN

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Cardiothoracic Operating Room (CVOR) at IU Health Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 2, 2026.

Schedule and Hours

• 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Guaranteed 40 hours per workweek
• Must be available for CVOR call as required
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Role Expectations

• Primary focus in CVOR with assistance in main OR when cardiac cases are not scheduled or after case conclusion
• Floating required within the hospital and to nearby affiliate hospitals
• Patient populations: neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents

Requirements

• RN license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of experience
• Pediatric cardiac experience strongly preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred

Equipment and Systems

• Required skills: basic instruments, laparoscopic instruments, sternal saws, Midas drills, basic power equipment
• Preferred skills: case cart, scrub, crash cart, Fontan, VAD, arterial switch, DaVinci, Censitrac
• Charting system: Cerner
