Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
• Weekend rotation required once every 5 weekends, covering inpatient units
• May be asked to participate in holiday rotation
• Treat 8 to 10 patients per day
• Primarily hospital-based outpatient physical therapy setting with potential to flex into inpatient medical/surgical rehab unit
• Implement individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
• Guide patients through functional exercises and equipment use
• Document patient progress and maintain open communication with supervising physical therapist and patients
• Report patient progress to supervising physical therapist
• Common diagnoses include total joints, back/shoulder/foot pain, and neurological conditions such as TBI, stroke, and Parkinson's
• Patient population ranges from juvenile (typically age 5+) to geriatrics
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of outpatient PTA experience; inpatient-only experience may be considered
• First-time travelers will be accepted
• 1 to 2 shifts of orientation with a preceptor provided
• Dress code: business casual (collared shirt, khaki or black pants) or solid-colored scrubs
• Required certifications: PT State License, BLS
