Physical Therapist Job in Clovis, NM

Presbyterian Health Services Inc is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 180-day travel assignment in Clovis, NM. You will work nights on a 5x8 schedule, with weekly compensation of $2,764.08.

About the Role

You will float between departments and local locations within a 20-mile radius, evaluating and treating patients across multiple care settings. Your responsibilities include:

• Evaluate and treat patients using therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of physical and developmental disorders
• Work in inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community-based care, and home health settings
• Address motor development, strength, range of motion, endurance, balance, coordination, and gait in patient populations
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the patient lifespan
• Oversee comprehensive rehabilitation programs addressing physical, psychosocial, and environmental well-being
• Coordinate and communicate with various disciplines involved in patient care
• Promote patient and caregiver self-determination through resource utilization
• Coordinate discharge planning established at initial evaluation
• Float to adult units as needed when pediatric patient census fluctuates

Key Qualifications

You will need basic computer skills, a detailed knowledge of physical therapy principles and data interpretation, and an understanding of healthcare regulations and rules. For pediatric assignments, you will evaluate and treat infants, children, and adolescents from birth to 18 years old.
