Operating Room RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City is seeking a travel RN for the Operating Room on a 91-day assignment beginning July 13, 2026. You will work days on a 3x12 hour schedule with 36 guaranteed weekly hours.

Role Overview

You will provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties, including neurology, urology, oncology, gynecology, robotics, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, OMF, and general surgery. Each patient receives a 1:1 ratio in this role. You will work with various equipment depending on the specialty and use the EPIC EMR system.

Scheduling & On-Call

Day shifts run during standard operating hours. Weekend hours are required as determined by facility needs. Call duty is mandatory: you will carry 2 primary and 2 backup shifts over a 2-month call period, with rotating self-sign up opportunities available Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:00 AM. Float assignments are required as directed by the facility.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of OR experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA (required)
• Travel experience preferred
• Certification preferred (beyond BLS/ACLS)

What We Provide

You will receive scrubs in light blue, provided by the facility. Weekly pay is $2,268.
