Join OU Health as an RN Circulator in the Operating Room, where you will deliver direct perioperative nursing care for adult surgical patients. This 89-day travel assignment offers a structured 12-hour day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday each week.

Role Overview

As an OR Circulator, you will plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for patients during operative and invasive procedures. You will utilize clinical knowledge, judgment, and clinical-reasoning skills grounded in scientific principles to implement individualized patient care. Your responsibilities include addressing the physical, psychological, and spiritual responses of patients undergoing surgery or procedures, ensuring comprehensive support throughout their perioperative experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care in the operating room
• Evaluate and document all components of care delivered within the perioperative environment using the nursing process
• Individualize patient care based on health status, age level, and the specific surgery or procedure being performed
• Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accountability for ongoing assessment and documentation throughout the perioperative period
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

You must hold an active RN license and have a minimum of 6 months of Level 1 experience in perioperative nursing. Call availability and weekend flexibility are required for this role.

Assignment Details

This position runs for 89 days, beginning July 13, 2026, at OU Health in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Weekly pay is $2,431 for the 12-hour day shift schedule. The Friday, Saturday, Sunday rotation provides consistent weekly scheduling with predictable time off.
