Cath Lab Technologist Job in Lafayette, IN

IU Health Arnett Hospital is seeking an Allied Health Professional with cath lab technologist expertise for our Radiology and Cardiology departments in Lafayette, Indiana.

Role Overview

You will work in a 2-room catheterization lab facility, supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. Your responsibilities include assisting with angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, hemodynamic monitoring, and vascular closure systems. You must demonstrate strong hands-on experience with interventional procedures, STEMI cases, and transvenous arterial replacements (TVARs).

Schedule and Commitment

• 4x10 hour day shifts with guaranteed 40 hours per work week
• 10–12 call shifts per month with 30-minute response time
• Call duration 12–14 hours, starting at shift completion or 5 p.m. on non-working days
• Must work one winter holiday per rotation restrictions

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a cath lab technologist
• Current certifications: ARRT(R), ACLS, BLS
• Proven experience with intervention and STEMI procedures
• Hands-on experience with TVARs and diagnostic cardiac catheterization
• Proficiency in angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, hemodynamic monitoring, and vascular closure systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electrophysiology (EP) procedures and ablations
• Experience with peripheral interventions
• Familiarity with Siemens X-Ray Systems
