Cath Lab Technologist Job in Bakersfield, CA

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist in the cardiac catheterization lab at Memorial Hospital - Bakersfield. This is a travel position lasting 91 days, starting June 22, 2026, with a weekly pay of $3,652.92.

Schedule and Expectations

• Work three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Every other weekend requirement
• Rotate on-call for inpatient and emergent cases once per week
• Weekend call requirement once per month, Friday evening through Monday morning
• First to float when staffing adjustments are needed

Role Details

You will support a 5-suite facility that handles 10–22 cases per day on average. Cases are performed with 2 technologists: one handling scrub duties and one monitoring hemodynamics. You will manage cardiac and coronary procedures, as well as vascular, peripheral, general interventional radiology, and neuro intervention cases.

Required Skills and Experience

• Current cath lab experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Comfort with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, and airway management
• Experience with cardiac drips including Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors
• Comfort working with intra-aortic balloon pumps

Certifications and Credentials

• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy certification required
• RCIS and CCT certifications will not be accepted
