Cath Lab Technologist Job in San Francisco, CA

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at Sutter Health CPMC Van Ness Campus, supporting cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses in the Interventional Cath Lab. This is a 91-day travel assignment.

Schedule & Pay

• 4 × 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM start times
• Rotating nights and weekend call required
• $3,220 weekly

Your Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during interventional procedures
• Integrate patient assessment, technical competence, and communication to ensure safe, precise treatment under cardiologist supervision
• Build confidence and cooperation with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Care for patients across all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• May mentor and train students

Required Experience & Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Cath Lab experience
• Structural heart experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• BLS (AHA), ACLS, RCES, CRT, or RCIS

Required Skills

• Diagnostic cardiac catheterization, right and left heart catheterization
• Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), PTCA, cardiac stent placement
• IABP placement and removal, Impella insertion, temporary pacemaker placement
• TAVR, Watchman, ventricular assist device insertion
• Fluoroscopy, ultrasound, rotablator atherectomy, optical coherence tomography (OCT)
• Vascular closure systems, ECMO
