ED RN Job in Frankfort, KY

Join Frankfort Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 28, 2026, working 3 shifts of 12 hours on nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).

Role Details

You will work in a 28-bed Emergency Department as part of an 18-member per 24-hour staffing team. On night shift, you will work alongside a Charge Nurse Clinician, two other RNs, a Unit Clerk, and a Greeter. You will maintain a 1:4 patient ratio and deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Equipment & Systems

You will work with the following clinical equipment:

• GE monitors
• Lifepaks
• Baxter IV pumps
• Ranger rapid infuser
• Ranger blood warmer

The department uses Meditech Expanse EMR for documentation and order entry.

Requirements

You must hold current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH stroke protocol.

Compensation

You will receive weekly pay of $1,801 for this assignment.

Staffing Structure

Day shift includes a Charge Nurse Clinician, 3 RNs, a Unit Clerk, and a Greeter. Mid shift includes 3 RNs and 2 Patient Care Technicians. Night shift (your shift) includes a Charge Nurse Clinician, 3 RNs, a Unit Clerk, and a Greeter. Two positions are available.
