Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour rotating shifts covering days, evenings, and nights
• 48 hours per week schedule can also be accommodated
• Scrub in and assist with a wide variety of surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma
• Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment
• Operate and assist with two Da Vinci robotic surgical systems used across multiple services
• Support transplant program involving livers, kidneys, and hearts
• NBSTSA Certification or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician required
• Minimum 2 years of surgical technician experience required
• Operating room experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred
• Must be able to scrub
• Required certification: BLS (American Heart Association only)
• NY license required: NBSTSA Tech License or 10 years of experience
