Mammography Technologist Job in Edwards, CO

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a Mammography Technologist for an 8-week travel assignment at Edwards Medical Campus in Edwards, Colorado. You will work days and earn $3,118 weekly.

In this role, you will perform breast imaging procedures including mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound, and assist with breast ultrasound biopsy. You will follow MQSA and ACR guidelines for all breast imaging work, demonstrating knowledge of breast anatomy, pathological conditions, and safe radiation administration.

Your responsibilities include:

• Operate and maintain all mammography and stereotactic equipment according to facility protocols
• Conduct and document quality control measures to ensure equipment meets MQSA and ACR safety standards
• Review breast imaging examinations for technical accuracy and present completed work to the radiologist
• Communicate and educate patients before, during, and after procedures
• Schedule breast imaging appointments and coordinate exam scheduling
• Perform radiographic examinations per facility protocol as needed
• Support department workflow management and ensure proper patient billing
• Organize, monitor, and order medical supply inventory
• Assist with breast health education events and promotional activities
• Participate in orienting new employees and healthcare professionals

You will care for patients across all age groups, from adolescence through geriatric populations. You must maintain current ARRT certification with Mammography endorsement (M), possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and have proficiency with computer systems for online learning, forms, policies, and benefits enrollment. One year of mammography experience is preferred. You will be required to maintain 24 CEU credits per A.R.R.T. guidelines every two years.
