RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts per week in an acute care setting
• Rotating call up to seven days per four-week schedule required
• Weeknight call requirement: One week of on-call per four-week schedule, Monday 7:00 AM to the following Monday at 7:00 AM - any hours off the clock, provider is on call
• Weekend call requirement: Friday after hours until Monday morning at 7:00 AM (if not completing the Monday-Monday call rotation)
• Holiday call requirement: Rotational
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• RN responsibilities include circulating, sedating, and completing documentation requirements in the Cath Pre/Post Recovery area
• Work with common procedures including diagnostic left and right heart caths, PCI, IABP, Impella, temporary pacemaker, TCAR, EVAR, EKOS, AIF, IVC filters, Infusaports, and Permacaths
• Facility operates 2 suites/labs with an average of 5-10 cases per day
• Charting system: EPIC
• Equipment: Siemens software and equipment
• Surgical attire provided; lead not provided
• No floating requirements - additional hours available on other units if experience permits
• Prior Cath Lab experience with a minimum of one year required
• BSN not required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
