RN - IR

Job Details:

• Work day/evening shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Four 10-hour shifts per week with 40-hour work weeks
• Cath lab, IR, and EP experience required
• Washington State or Compact RN Licensure required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Will be required to take call
• Required to float as a sitter and may float in rotation
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians, patients, and families to facilitate effective patient care and treatment
• Coordinate and provide high quality patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit specific standards of practice
• Accurately collect patient information needed to provide safe, high-quality care
• Complete holistic ongoing assessments of patient status and respond appropriately
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient plans of care
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and/or treatments
• Address physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of patients
• Educate patients, families, and significant others with appropriate health information and written materials
• Continually evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness and educational needs
• Accurately document care provided, assessments, plans of care, interventions, and patient responses
• Demonstrate ability to handle emergency situations in a prompt, precise, and professional manner
• Must consistently function within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit specific standards of practice
