Job Details:

• Varied work schedule
• Float throughout two campuses, BUMC-Tucson and BUMC-South, providing support where necessary
• BUMC-Tucson Campus includes approximately 16 Adult Health units ranging from Observation, Med Surg, and PCU
• PCU travelers may be floated to any adult health units, and occasionally to the ED or PACU to manage Adult Health patients with inpatient orders awaiting a bed
• BUMC-South Campus is approximately a 10-minute drive from BUMC-Tucson and includes four Adult Health units
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed and non-licensed healthcare team members
• Document assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluations accurately and in a timely manner in the patient record
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and support education and orientation of facility personnel
• Minimum one year of acute care experience as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area required, with experience within the past 12 months
• Previous travel experience required
• Current, valid RN license in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
