X-Ray Technician Job in Clarion, PA

WVU Clarion Hospital is seeking an X-Ray Technician (Rad Tech) to join the Radiology department. This is an acute care position working in a General X-Ray setting with exposure to diverse imaging environments and equipment.

Schedule & Shift Details

• Work five 8-hour shifts per week, primarily weekday daytime and evening shifts
• Every 4th week, transition to two 8-hour weekday shifts and two 12-hour weekend shifts
• No overnight shifts or on-call requirements
• Weekend requirements vary by location: every other weekend at one site, every 4th weekend at the other

Role Responsibilities

• Perform emergency studies, routine outpatient, inpatient, and OR imaging
• Work across multiple rooms and equipment at two locations
• Operate 3 radiology rooms, 1 urology room in OR, 5 C-arms, and 3 portables at one location; 2 radiology rooms, 2 C-arms, and 2 portables at the other
• Utilize equipment including Dell, Canon, Shimadzu, Siemens, GE, and OEC systems
• Work with Meditech Expanse EMR and Philips PACS systems
• No IV start requirements

Support & Environment

• Radiology supervisor or lead tech available during daytime shifts
• In-house radiologist on site
• Typically one week of department-specific orientation provided

Requirements

• ARRT certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Scrubs required in any color except purple

Compensation & Duration

Weekly pay: $2,156. Assignment duration: 91 days. Start date: October 19, 2026.
