Respiratory Therapist Job in Winchester, VA

Join Winchester Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapist on a 91-day travel assignment. You will work the night shift, providing essential respiratory care to patients across acute care, emergency department, medical-surgical, and step-down units.

Schedule & Hours

• 3x12 night shift schedule (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM)
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• No float requirements

Your Role

• Perform patient assessment and treatment of pulmonary disease
• Deliver pulmonary-related education to patients
• Care for inpatient, emergency department, medical-surgical, and step-down unit patients
• Typically see 20–25 patients each round with a patient ratio of 80:1

Requirements

• 2+ years of respiratory therapy experience
• BLS certification (AHA only)
• RRT certification
• Virginia state license
• Required knowledge and experience with Epic EMR system

Additional Information

• Facility dress code requires hunter green scrubs
• Assignment begins July 6, 2026
