Job Details:

• 40 hours per week with 4x10 or 5x8 shift schedules accepted
• Shift times: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM or 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM
• Weekend coverage required every third weekend
• Call required: one weekday per week and one weekend per month (24 hours Saturday/Sunday)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Charting system experience required; documentation system is Cerner
• Medication system: Omnicell
• Communication system: SBAR
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
• Scrubs are provided
• Perform and support a wide range of surgical procedures including general OR, ambulatory OR, and trauma cases
• Support laparoscopic assisted cases including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, and hernia repair
• Assist with gynecological procedures including hysterectomy, bilateral tubal ligation, and laparoscopic gynecological procedures
• Support orthopedic and spine procedures including total joint replacement, spinal fusion, laminectomy/discectomy, and fracture reductions
• Assist with robotic surgical cases including gastrointestinal, gynecologic, and urologic robotic surgery using Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• Scrub general surgery, orthopedic surgeries, and vascular surgery cases
• Handle trauma cases including gunshot/stab wounds and MVA with multiple injuries
• Facility averages 20 cases per day across 7 operating rooms
• Patient ratio is 1:1 across days, nights, and weekends
