Operating Room RN Job in Columbus, NE

You'll work as an Operating Room RN at Columbus Community Hospital, a 4-OR suite facility in Columbus, NE. This 89-day travel assignment runs on a 24-hour rotating shift schedule, with weekly pay of $2,381, and begins September 21, 2026.

Your Role

You will circulate and scrub cases across multiple surgical specialties, including orthopedics (total joint replacements), general surgery, OB/GYN (including C-sections), urology, and ENT. In this small department setting, you'll assist with room turnover and cleaning as needed. You may also provide a second set of hands in PACU during callback cases, though you will not recover patients independently. You'll work alongside visiting physicians who hold specialty clinics in orthopedics, ENT, and other fields.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience as an OR RN
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• Proficiency in orthopedic cases, including total joint procedures
• Comfort with both scrubbing and circulating
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• CPI or MOAB certification (training available on-site for $150 if not already certified)
• Skills checklist completed within one year of assignment start
• Two professional references from the past three years, with one from a supervisor
