OR RN Job in Columbus, NE

Columbus Community Hospital is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 89-day travel assignment in Columbus, NE. You will work 3x12 rotating shifts at a weekly pay of $2,790.

Role Overview

You will circulate and scrub a variety of surgical cases in a 4-suite OR plus additional procedure rooms. Your responsibilities include:

• Circulate OBGYN cases including C-sections, orthopedic, general, urology, and ENT procedures
• Scrub and circulate orthopedic cases, including total joint replacements
• Assist with room turnover and cleaning in this small department setting
• Sit in PACU on callback cases as a second RN to assist during recovery (supporting, not recovering patients)
• Work alongside visiting physicians who hold clinic for ENT, orthopedic, and other specialties

Requirements

• Minimum 3–4 years of OR RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency in orthopedic cases, including total joint procedures
• Current BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS (American Heart Association) certifications
• CPI or MOAB certification required; if not certified, you must complete MOAB training on site (cost: $150)
• Skills checklist to be completed within one year of assignment start
• Active Nebraska nursing license with online verification through Nursys
• Two professional references from the past three years, one from a supervisor
