Job Details:

• Work in the Main OR covering general surgery, orthopedics, neuro, ENT, vascular, plastics, gynecology, urology, and robotics
• Shift options and weekend requirements will be discussed with manager during phone interview
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10-hour shifts
• On-call required - details to be discussed with manager during interview
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs required
• Floating to sister facilities required
• 18 months of experience required; 2 years preferred
• Strong neuro experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA); NBSTSA/NCCT preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
• Parking is free in any unrestricted space
• Must be proficient in a wide range of surgical procedures including vascular, ENT, gynecologic, orthopedic, urologic, thoracic, robotic, and general surgery cases
• Must be competent in fire safety, aseptic technique, laser safety, radiation safety, sharps safety, specimen handling/labeling, sterilization/disinfection, universal protocol, and closed/open reduction of fractures
• Block scheduling is not available
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application - requests submitted after will not be reviewed
• Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be prioritized upon assignment confirmation; modules average 6-15 hours and are completed pre-start and annually
