Job Details:

• Work in a main OR setting covering general surgery, orthopedics, neuro, ENT, vascular, plastics, gynecology, urology, and robotics
• Shift options and weekend requirements will be discussed with manager during phone interview
• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 shifts
• On-call required - details to be discussed with manager during interview
• 18 months of experience required; 2 years preferred
• Strong neuro experience is required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Will float within scope to meet facility needs
• Floating to sister facilities required
• Block scheduling not available
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA); NBSTSA/NCCT preferred
• Charting system experience required; EPIC used at facility
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
• Parking is free in any unrestricted space
• Must be proficient in a wide range of surgical procedures including but not limited to: vascular, ENT, general, gynecologic, orthopedic, urologic, robotic, thoracic, and ophthalmic surgeries
• Must demonstrate competency in aseptic technique, fire safety, laser safety, radiation safety, sharps safety, specimen handling/labeling, sterilization/disinfection, and universal protocol
• Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be prioritized upon assignment confirmation; modules average 6-15 hours and are completed pre-start and annually
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; RTO added after submission will not be approved
