Cath Lab Technologist Job in Sanford, FL

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a backfill travel position in Sanford, FL. You'll work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM on a 5x8 schedule, supporting the cardiac catheterization lab and electrophysiology services.

Your Role:

• Manage 1:1 or 2:1 patient ratios in the Cath lab, EP lab, holding area, and related departments as needed
• Assist with procedures including TAVR, Watchman, PCI, peripheral interventions, Impella, and balloon pump placements
• Perform circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring duties with advanced technical skills
• Operate specialized equipment: GE fluoroscopy, Mac Lab, Acist, Volcano, IVUS, Angiojet, and Penumbra systems
• Document patient information and procedure details using Mac Lab and Meditech systems
• Float between two Cath lab rooms and one EP room based on patient volume and acuity

Requirements:

• Allied Health Professional credential
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ARRT or RCIS certification within 3 years of hire (ARRT-certified Rad Technologists exempt from this timeline)
• Minimum of two advanced skills in EP circulating, scrubbing, or monitoring
• Willingness to participate in late stays and on-call rotation as needed

Position Details:

• 91-day assignment
• Start date: March 6, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,248.40
• Provided scrubs; hospital uniform dress code applies
