CT Technologist Job in Redding, CA

You'll work as a CT Technologist at Mercy Medical Center Redding, operating in a fast-paced radiology environment that spans the operating room, emergency department, inpatient units, and outpatient settings. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 17, 2026.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts with every-other-weekend requirements
• Weekly pay: $2,197
• Department orientation: 1–2 shifts
• You'll float as needed and work independently, particularly during night shifts with reduced staffing

Clinical Responsibilities

• Operate Philips iPatient 64 and big bore 16 CT equipment
• Manage C-arms in the operating room
• Work across OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient departments
• Document findings in Cerner electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• ARRT (R) Rad Tech I or Rad Tech II with CT experience
• First-time travelers will be considered

Preferred Qualifications

• Level II Trauma experience

Working Conditions

• Wear teal scrubs; OR-specific scrubs provided when working in the operating room
• Shift lengths vary between 8, 10, and 12 hours; specific details provided at interview
• Call schedule varies and will be discussed during your second interview
• Weekend and holiday requirements discussed upon entering the interview process
