ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients in the emergency department setting
• Participate in patient and family teaching and education
• Work cooperatively with ancillary nursing and patient team personnel
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting
• Ensure patient rights and privacy are protected at all times
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards as defined by ANA Code for Nurses and State of Michigan Public Health Code
• Maintain compliance with regulatory agency standards including AOA, HCFA, and MIOSHA
• Every third weekend required with weekend-only option available if interested
• No on-call responsibilities
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS (ENPC accepted in place of PALS), TNCC, ENPC, BLS (AHA)
• Michigan nursing license required
