Interventional Radiology RN Job in Macon, GA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology at Piedmont Macon Medical Center. This is a 112-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026, on a 4x10 days schedule at $2,621 weekly.

Role Details

You will support interventional procedures including bronchoscopy, EBUS, and navigational bronchoscopy. You will manage a patient ratio of 4 patients per nurse across day, night, and weekend shifts. Patient populations include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Call requirements include 1 to 2 days per week and 1 weekend per month. You will float within the facility and to sister hospital locations as needed within your scope of practice. Major holidays falling within your assignment period must be worked per the facility's holiday policy. You may take a maximum of 7 days of pre-approved time off during the contract.

Required Qualifications

• Current Georgia or Compact nursing license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• ACLS and BLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic charting system experience
• Community hospital experience
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience

Required Clinical Skills

You should have experience with carotid stenting, central venous access and port placement, chemoembolization, chest tube placement, endovascular interventions, interventional cardiac catheterization, lung biopsy, nephrostomy, paracentesis, percutaneous hepatic angiography, renal angiography, renal artery stent placement, stent graft placement, SVC/IVC venography, thoracentesis, and upper and lower extremity angiography.
