Telemetry RN Job in Phoenix, AZ

St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for their 32-bed Neuro Telemetry unit in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,260.08.

Position Details

• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Maintain a 1:4 patient ratio on the Neuro Telemetry unit
• Float to telemetry units and telemetry overflow in ICU as needed
• Four weekend shifts required per four-week cycle
• Holiday coverage based on unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; neuro experience highly preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• ACLS and BLS certification
• Pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance (two attempts allowed)
• Pass Day 1 pass/fail SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Clinical Skills

• Interpret EKGs and work with central monitoring
• Titrate drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin
• Care for patients with diagnoses including trached patients, CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, encephalopathy, ESRD, psychiatric issues, and brain tumors
• Average patient length of stay is 4–5 days in this fast-paced unit

Orientation and Support

Two-day floor-specific orientation is provided. You will work with the Cerner charting system using WOWs.

Additional Requirements

• Own vehicle required for travel
• Dress code: steel gray scrubs, natural hair color, no facial piercings, men must be clean-shaven for fit testing
