CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 36-hour weeks with rotating weekends and holidays
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to other units not required
• Work independently covering both CT and X-ray modalities, often as single staff coverage for both
• Operate GE Optima CT scanner and GE portable X-ray equipment
• Document using Meditech and Sectra systems
• Perform normal ER procedures - no surgical procedures or biopsies
• Work in a 12-bed freestanding ER with a 7-bed vertical fast track area
• Average patient volume of 80 patients per day with 100+ during winter surge
• Must be capable of handling acute stroke cases and moderate pediatric volume
• Must have 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
• Must have Virginia license or compact license at time of submission
• Required certifications: CPR, ARRT, ARRT-CT
• Required dress code: Grey scrubs
• Must demonstrate professional, friendly, and strong communication skills
