Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Weekend shifts on an as-needed basis
• Travel experience required; no first-time travelers
• Perform nuclear medicine procedures including PET scans, HIDA scans, MUGA scans, bone scans, renal scans, and ventilation/perfusion studies
• Conduct nuclear cardiology procedures including MPI cardio SPECT, pharmacological stress testing, and thallium stress tests
• Perform liver imaging, cerebral blood flow studies, gastric emptying studies, and cancer surveys
• Administer adenosine and persantine infusions
• Operate imaging equipment including Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba systems
• Start and maintain IVs and draw venous blood
• Properly store, handle, and dispose of radioactive materials
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Treat adult patient populations
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, lift teams, rapid response teams, and transportation
• Required certifications: ARRT (N) or NMTCB, BLS
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, CNMT, NCT, NMTCB, PET
• Requested time off must be 7 days maximum
