Med Surg RN Job in Greeley, CO

Banner North Colorado Medical Center is seeking an RN for our Med Surg unit in Greeley, CO. This is a travel position offering 3x12 night shifts over 89 weeks, with a weekly pay of $2,295.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit serving patients with medical, oncology, and telemetry needs. Your responsibilities include:

• Assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Formulating and implementing individualized care plans based on patient-specific assessment data and medical orders
• Reading telemetry strips and monitoring patient status
• Coordinating, delegating, and supervising health care team activities
• Evaluating patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Documenting assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely
• Participating in unit and facility shared leadership initiatives
• Contributing to improvement of national nursing quality indicators and outcomes
• Precepting and mentoring staff members as appropriate

Schedule & Requirements

You will work every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation. You may be required to float to support Loveland Campus or BFC as needed. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, and stretching frequently, and lifting up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

You must hold a valid Colorado RN license with CAPS clearance. Required certifications include BLS and NIHSS. A minimum of one year of acute care hospital experience is required, with acute care experience within the past 12 months. A bachelor's degree and professional certification are preferred.

You will be exposed to blood and bodily fluids and must follow standard precautions.
