Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Saturday and Sunday shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Monday shifts from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM
• Holiday, on-call, and callback shifts per unit needs
• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• Must have GE Scanner experience to be considered
• Must have Injection Certification to be considered
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
• BLS certification from American Heart Association only required
• New York State Rad Tech license required (must be willing to obtain after starting)
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing
• Document all procedures while maintaining confidentiality of patient information
• Perform patient care tasks as needed
• Must be familiar with medical terminology
• Must be able to stand for extended periods
