MRI Technologist Job in Rochester, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for an 8-hour overnight position at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. This is a 117-week travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026, with a weekly pay of $1,877.

Position Overview

You will work night shifts Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with on-call and callback requirements as determined by unit needs. Holiday shifts are required. Your primary responsibilities include operating MRI machines efficiently, preparing patients for scanning procedures, and inserting IVs when necessary for diagnostic testing. You will coordinate with physicians to ensure timely delivery of diagnostic imaging results and maintain detailed documentation of all procedures while upholding patient confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
• GE scanner experience (required)
• Injection certification (required)
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification through American Heart Association
• New York State Radiology Tech license

Essential Skills

You must be comfortable standing for extended periods and be familiar with medical terminology. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential as you work in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center environment.
