Electrophysiology Technician Job in La Crosse, WI

Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center is seeking an Electrophysiology Technician to join our EP Lab team in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This 12-week travel contract offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic electrophysiology environment supporting complex cardiac procedures.

Position Details

• Work 4 nine-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week (excluding orientation week and unit closures for holidays)
• Schedule flexibility required—you will work any four days based on department needs with no block scheduling
• No float requirements; no weekend or holiday obligations
• Late call may be required to complete your shift; no callback shifts

Clinical Responsibilities

• Support a team of three EP physicians across two procedure rooms
• Perform ablations and device implantation procedures
• Work in scrub, X-ray monitoring, and bedside monitoring roles as needed
• Handle 3–5 cases per day in 4-person ablation teams

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3+ years of experience in electrophysiology specialty; previous travel experience strongly preferred
• Active RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) certification and AHA BLS certification
• Demonstrated ability to work flexibly across scrub, X-ray, and monitoring roles
• Associate Degree or Certificate in a related clinical field; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Epic and MaClab charting experience strongly preferred
