Electrophysiology Technician Job in Janesville, WI

You will work as an Electrophysiology Technologist at Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville, supporting cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. This is a 91-day travel position on a 4x10 day schedule, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with one to two weeknight call shifts per week and every fourth weekend on call.

Your responsibilities include:

• Verify package integrity and expiration dates on all sterile supplies
• Prepare patients and equipment using sterile technique for cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, TAVR, and left atrial appendage closure procedures
• Prepare equipment and supplies for sterilization following procedures
• Monitor and record procedural data and maintain procedural event logs
• Provide patient comfort while familiarizing patients with equipment and supplies
• Apply necessary monitors and prepare access sites including sterile drapes
• Utilize sterile and aseptic technique when scrubbing into procedures
• Advocate for radiation safety and protection for yourself and coworkers
• Wear personal radiation dosimeter and minimize patient and staff exposure
• Document fluoroscopy time and radiation doses and evaluate reports to ensure values remain within established safety limits

Requirements: You must hold an AART registration, Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist License, Cardiovascular Technologist registration, BLS certification, and ACLS certification. Graduation from an accredited radiology program is required with education verification.

You will earn $3,411 per week. Your assignment begins July 24, 2026.
