Telemetry RN Job in Edgewood, KY

Saint Elizabeth Edgewood is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment in Telemetry. You will work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with a weekly pay of $2,255.04. Your start date is October 5, 2026.

Role Overview:

You will care for a patient ratio of 5 to 6 patients in a 36-bed telemetry unit. Your responsibilities include managing pre and post cardiac catheterization patients, accessing and managing ports, administering blood products, and monitoring cardiac telemetry. You will also float between Edgewood and Florence campuses as needed, including Observation Units, Med-Surg, and Med-Surg Telemetry units. You may support ED boarders—patients waiting for inpatient beds—and float to observation units when ED boarders are unavailable.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 1.5 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Active Kentucky or compact nursing license at time of submission
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• EPIC charting experience
• Cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Heparin and IV insulin protocols
• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Central line and PICC line care and management
• High-flow nasal cannula and arterial blood gas interpretation
• Wound care

Facility Details:

You will use lift equipment, iPads for communication, and pacemaker interrogation equipment. Block scheduling is available but not guaranteed.

Dress Code and Appearance Requirements:

• Navy blue scrubs with no agency or brand logos
• No nose rings or gauged earrings
• Natural fingernails only, no longer than 1/4 inch, for direct patient care; polish is acceptable

Assignment Restrictions:

No return to origin (RTO) from December 15, 2026 through January 5, 2027. Travel partners are not allowed.
